FastMed Urgent Care Opens First Location in Tolleson, Arizona
Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce to Join Ribbon Cutting Event
Phoenix, AZ, August 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, August 3 FastMed Urgent Care opened its first clinic in Tolleson at the corner of 99th Avenue and West Lower Buckeye Road in Pecan Promenade (9870 W. Lower Buckeye Road), making it FastMed’s 23rd location in Arizona. FastMed joins Target, Supercuts and Starbucks in serving the community of Tolleson, providing access to urgent care services seven days a week with extended evening hours.
FastMed will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location with the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce and the local business community on Tuesday, August 13 at 3:00 PM. The Southwest Valley Chamber will conduct the ribbon cutting, with local business owners and leaders invited to attend, tour the clinic and learn about FastMed Urgent Care.
Open to the public and ready to treat patients, all Tolleson residents are welcome to tour FastMed’s new state of the art urgent care clinic, as well as meet and talk to FastMed medical providers and clinical staff.
As a special offer to the local community, FastMed will provide sports physicals for all ages discounted to $15 (normally $35) until August 31. The new FastMed location is less than two miles from Tolleson Union High School, Hurley Ranch Elementary School, the Tolleson Public Library and many local businesses in Tolleson.
The clinic will have extended hours 365 days a year for walk-in treatment for:
· Mild to moderate illnesses
· Injury and orthopedics treatment
· Medical procedures such as sutures, stitches, cyst removal, incision, drainage and splinting
· Onsite digital X-rays for injuries
· Phlebotomy services
· Physicals for children and adults
· Vaccinations and flu shots for children and adults (available upon request)
FastMed treats many non-emergency conditions, such as allergic reactions, bladder infections, sinus infections, Bronchitis, coughs or colds, sore throat and strep throat, Conjunctivitis (pink eye and eye infections), dehydration, ear infections, fevers or the flu, hives, insect bites, skin rashes, sun burn, urinary tract infections and much more.
