The line was created by Bay Area-based foot surgeon, Dr. Joan Oloff, who rejects the notion that women need to suffer to look beautiful. Her collection offers high fashion shoes that are engineered in a way that is considerably healthier for the foot. Her studies helped her to revolutionize the shoe itself. The new construction:

Raised by a family in the shoe business, Dr. Oloff honed her clinical expertise in foot care at Temple University with subsequent surgical specialty, held clinical appointments at Stanford University and the California College of Podiatric Medicine, prior to opening her own foot and ankle center in the SF Bay Area. She is an expert in her field.
