Real-Time Innovations Named to Inc. 5,000 List Based on Three-Year Sales Growth of 48.4 Percent
Core business of real-time middleware triples, qualifying RTI as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States
Santa Clara, CA, September 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Real-Time Innovations (RTI), The Real-Time Middleware Experts, today announced its inclusion in the Inc. 5,000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country. The Inc. 5,000, an extension of Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list, identifies many businesses that are too large to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms. Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy.
“The Inc. 5,000 provides the most comprehensive look ever at the most important part of the economy — the entrepreneurial part,” said Inc. 5,000 project manager Jim Melloan. “The expansion of the list has allowed us to tell the stories of larger companies, older companies and a wealth of companies in industries like manufacturing and construction that are underreported in the business media.”
To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, independent as of December 31, 2006 — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2003 and $2 million in 2006.
“To be named to the Inc. 5,000 list for the first time is a significant accomplishment for RTI,” commented Stan Schneider, CEO of RTI. “This is particularly rewarding since over half of our revenue in 2003 was from a debugging tools product line that we sold in January 2005. Our core business in real-time middleware more than made up that difference by tripling between 2003 and 2006. This is a tremendous validation of our decision to focus on the middleware opportunity.”
