Weathervane Hosts Savor the South Dinner Aug. 13

During the event, diners will journey from the low country to the top of the Smoky Mountains through a five-course menu celebrating the distinctive flavors and textures of Southern cuisine.

First Course
- Chicken liver pâté with pork cracklins and house bread and butter pickles

Second Course
- Homegrown tomatoes with watermelon and smoked farmer’s cheese

Third Course
- Wild striped bass with Johnston County country ham and butter beans

Fourth Course
- 36-hour short ribs with pea shoot butter and corn pudding

Fifth Course
- Buttermilk bundt cake with lemon curd and blackberries
