Esteem Me Montessori & Creative Play Partners with Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for Grand Opening

Innovative Montessori Preschool and Drop-Off Care Facility Celebrates Grand Opening with Local Philanthropic Organization.

Cary, NC, August 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Esteem Me Montessori & Creative Play (http://www.esteemme-mcp.com/), a year-round, full- and part-time quality childcare center for children ages six weeks to six years, has announced that the North Carolina Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht will help celebrate the grand opening of Esteem Me with a day of fun and philanthropy on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

During the event, children will make inspirational art projects for other young people in their own community who have or are currently battling blood cancers as they return to school. For some, returning to school after an extended stay in the hospital is one of the most difficult transitions, and Esteem Me hopes to encourage self esteem and confidence in these children through these inspirational crafts made by their peers. Additionally, families can learn more about Esteem Me’s preschool and drop-off care offerings. Children in attendance will enjoy a performance by the Traveling Teacher Show, play in Esteem Me’s Creative Play Center and enjoy pony rides with Happy Trail Farms.
