Dial An Exchange Sponsors Upcoming Australian Timeshare Conference
Gold Coast, Australia, August 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dial An Exchange (DAE), the world’s largest, privately owned Exchange Company, will once again support the Australian Timeshare & Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) annual conference by participating as a Gold Sponsor.
The ATHOC Conference is Australia’s official timeshare trade association conference, which is held once a year and usually attracts around 130 attendees primarily from throughout Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, with some also coming from as far away as the United States and Europe. The Association was established in 1994 to represent all interests involved in the Australian timeshare industry and to work toward national industry best practice. The annual conference brings together many of the industry’s participants to network and discuss ideas.
The 2013 event is to be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor on the Gold Coast between 2nd and 4th September with the theme “Challenge of Change.” The sessions will concentrate on important day-to-day industry issues affecting the Asia Pacific region, but will also feature some international speakers who deliver presentations of a more global nature.
“It is incredibly important that every industry or niche business group, has a collective representative body that can be a focal resource for those who belong to it. The ATHOC industry body has many times in the past taken a stance on behalf of its members when injustice is apparent or when misrepresented in the public domain, and has had much interaction and lobbying with government legislation changes for the industry over the years. ATHOC also has a lighter or more social aspect away from helping to monitor industry standards. It is heavily involved in the Tourism and Accommodation sectors in Australia to promote Vacation Ownership, and it’s social and charitable endeavours are also worthwhile. I think from DAE’s point of view we need to belong and support our regional industry body to help all members stay strong, focused and united to bring about continued growth and remain a respected and reputable contributor to Corporate Australia today,” said Francis Taylor, CEO, Dial An Exchange.
Dial An Exchange, which originates from Australia, continues to expand its global business around the world with new offices and product offerings, whilst servicing more than 450,000 members.
Dial An Exchange Europe recently joined the Resort Development Organisation (RDO), which is the equivalent official trade association in Europe. With this new membership, DAE is now represented internationally through all major trade associations including; American Resort Development Association (ARDA), Australian Timeshare & Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) and Vacation Ownership Association of Southern Africa (VOASA).
