Placement Season at Quantum for 2014 Students Starts Off with a Big Bang
Roorkee, India, December 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Quantum Global Campus has made an impressive start of its Campus Placements for the academic session 2013-14 with so much positive and enthusiastic response from the companies that were invited to visit the campus. The academic session began on 6th August and within just 5 days, 10 jobs offers have already been offered to the students who are going to pass out in 2014 so far with the highest package of 10 Lakhs per annum.
“The technical training, soft skills workshops, training session and constant efforts of the college trainers were the most helpful tools which helped me in attaining this success,” said the students.
“Quantum has already booked dates for placements for more than 15 companies till date. The campus placements will continue till next May 2014,” informed the placement team of the college.
It may be mentioned that last year for the 2012-13 academic session Quantum had placed 70% of their students in more than 30 companies. This year with the impressive start already made, Quantum shall cross its last year’s milestone and shall achieve the target of over 90% job offers for its engineering and management-graduating batch. The chairman of Quantum, Mr. Ajay Goyal feels that achieving 100% placements is not at all unachievable, despite the stories of slow down, recession, etc., as companies are finding that students from Quantum are job ready and knowledgeable.
The Campus Recruitment Program at Quantum, it is learnt, is conducted by a highly structured Corporate Resource Centre (DEEPRO) comprising of a dedicated team of experienced professional. The campus recruitment program of Quantum is rightly called "I-deserve." This team is working overtime across the region to mobilize companies looking for freshers. So far the results have been very satisfying.
During a campus interaction, the students emphasized that a rigorous curriculum, as also consistent training in communication skills and other areas of selection have already begun to pay off in a big way. The elated faculty attributed this success to the synergy in teaching-learning process that is so closely followed here. The performance by the students has far exceeded their own expectations. They have often surprised the recruiters with their proficiency as compared to what they generally find in the colleges elsewhere. As such, a celebratory mood prevails at college. Quantum Global Campus Named among top engineering colleges in Uttarakhand by IMRB International Education Survey.
In view of its significance, the whole process is being closely monitored personally on a day-to-daybasis by the Secretary, Board of Governors, Mr. Shobhit Goyal. It is beyond doubt that before the end of the academic year, i.e. July 2014, Quantum will have achieved its mission of hundred percent placements.
