Brandbuilder Responds to National Need - Washington, DC CEO Akia Garnett Launches Programs to Help Four Small Business Owners Grow Their Business and the Economy
Akia Garnett, CEO for Brandbuilder, and columnist for Minority Business Entrepreneur has launched Brandbuilder Intensiveā¢, the first ever Washington, DC based Brand Intensive CEO Peer Group taking small business owners branding from conceptual to visual in less than four months.
Alexandria, VA, August 10, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Starting in the Fall 2013 four small business owners will receive the help they’ve asked for with four months of intensive one on one and group work sessions to relaunch or officially launch a comprehensive brand for their company.
“Small business America deserves individualized attention and concrete processes to reach business success that will address America’s immediate and long term economic needs. We need to do more than simply revive our economy, but also maintain a primary position in the international marketplace. That can only happen by building a greater platform on which American small businesses can operate.” -Akia Garnett, CEO Brandbuilder. The intensive four month program is open for national participation. It will clarify and streamline small business collateral pieces, business website and business social media through a process created just for the small business owner. The first program runs from October 2013 thru January 2013. Two additional programs will run in 2014, one starting in March and another in September.
Any vision starts from within – and small business relies heavily on the people who are a part of understanding that vision and moving it to the marketplace on a daily basis. Brandbuilder understands that synergy. The Brandbuilder Intensive CEO Peer Group has been designed for the success of small business as a whole. The group will meet through a series of events held throughout the Washington, DC and Alexandria, Virginia area. Upon conclusion of the Brandbuilder Intensive™ program small businesses will present their rebirthed brand to a Brand Intensive CEO Peer Group and then to their own target audiences. The program is competitive and an application process applies.
Akia Garnett, CEO, known for her Vision and Mission Mapping™, brandbuilder development, workshops, education and publications brings unwavering inspiration through a series of platforms across social media. Known for her tweetchats on Twitter (#MyBrandChat & #iBrandChat) which takes place every Tuesday at 8 PM EST, her column for Minority Business Enterprise magazine, and for CoAuthoring the small business workbook, Seen and Sustained, Communication Best Practices, she brings her personal and professional experiences to life through her written words. According to Small Business Administration, Caron Beesley, writer/author, “it’s important to understand that your brand is much more than your logo, merchandising or products. As I mentioned above, it is about the sum total of the experiences customers have with your business. This includes the visual elements of your business, but it also includes what you do, how you do it, what your customer interactions are like, the type of information you share in your marketing and on social media. All these elements help establish the trust and credibility of your business.” In Akia Garnett’s words, “Brandbuilder is responding with the Intensive programs to move small business owners that much closer to comprehensive branding and marketing.”
