HiMSS NW Chapters Announce Their Fall NW Technology and Education Symposium
Portland, OR, August 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Oregon and Washington Chapters of HIMSS today announced that registration and Call for Presenters is open for the Third Annual HIMSS NW Technology Conference taking place October 14 & 15, 2013 at the Nines Hotel, located at 525 SW Morrison, Portland, Oregon 97204 in Portland, Oregon.
With the continued theme of “Connected Communities of Care,” the conference’s goal is to educate attendees to learn how technology is advancing the healthcare reform movement toward accountability across the public, private, provider, payer, and patient communities, and will bring together health professionals to share their experiences, ideas, plans and breakthrough technologies.
The conference will be developed to assess ways to improve the health and care of patients and the public. This conference will focus on what we know, what is underway, what is available, what has worked and what has not.
The Fall NW Technology and Education Symposium has also now opened its Call for Presenters, welcoming topics from across the Health Information Technology landscape including Healthcare Provider and HC Payer Topics.
Presenters will share their experiences, ideas, plans and breakthrough technologies developed to help us improve the health and care of patients and the public. This conference focuses on what we know, what is underway, what is available, what has worked and what has not.
Presentations in the past have included keynotes from Providence Health Plans, Intel Corporation Industry Affairs, and State Senators.
