About Gilbert L. Scott
Gilbert L. Scott was born in Jacksonville, Florida. After receiving his B.A. in Economics at DePauw University, he began his career with RCA as a Quality Control Engineer. He served in the Army as a Radio Operator and upon his discharge, he returned to RCA in the Electron Tube Division. From there he joined Roche Diagnostics as a Reliability and Validation Engineer in design quality for blood glucose meters where he stayed until his retirement in 2003. Mr. Scott has numerous awards to his credit including the American Biographical Institute - Man of the Year 2003; International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England - Lifetime Achievement Award and DaVinci Diamond for Outstanding Contribution to Reliability Engineering. In his leisure time, he enjoys ballroom dancing and water sports.
