HD Portable Monitor from Able-HD Exceeds Kickstarter Goal in Matter of Hours; Support from Crowdfunding Site Offers Impressive Outcome for New Kickstarter Project

With 23 campaign days left, Able-HD feels encouraged about reaching its stretch goal, and ultimately bringing the monitor to production.

Starting as a personal DIY project, Nell Vh, thought leader and concept creator, created Able-HD because of his own use of multiple monitors to help with productivity on a daily basis. “I think you’ll find, most people are like me when it comes to using multiple monitors, or gadgets, in the work place,” says Rona. “PC shipments are decreasing, target sales are not being met, etc. Today, most people choose to use a laptop, tablet or other gadgets - including me.”

While laptops are portable, there is currently no convenient way to travel with multiple monitors. This void in the marketplace led Vh to create a slimmer 17” LED monitor, with 1080p resolution, that can be connected to any laptop, making it convenient to use while traveling. Not only is this HD monitor great for increasing productivity while away from the office, the device can also be connected to a smartphone, giving gaming advocates and movie buffs an opportunity to view their favorite games or movies on a larger screen, even on the go.

As of today, Able-HD has ­­­$39,816 in funding. The project has been ranked on the Kickstarter Hot List, according to Kickstarter tracking site, Kicktraq. The campaign has 23 more days live and the company hopes to achieve additional funding for the project during the remaining time.
