Local Florist Team to Enter Annual Competition in Two Centerpiece Categories
Raleigh, NC, August 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- North Raleigh Florist (http://www.northraleighflorist.com), located at 7457 Six Forks Road, has announced that they will compete in the 2013 North Carolina State Florist Association (NCSFA) Convention Competition in the categories of centerpiece and miniature centerpiece Saturday, Aug. 17 at Embassy Suites Greensboro, located at 204 Centreport Drive. The convention, titled “The Hidden Beauty of the Wild, Wild West,” will feature a trade show, live entertainment, contests and workshops.
North Raleigh Florist employee Samantha Harrington will enter the miniature centerpiece competition, which will feature the submission of an arrangement smaller than 5 inches in height and be composed of a combination of fresh and dried silk flowers. Fellow employee Amy Sipe will compete in the larger centerpiece category, which will reflect the convention’s theme and be featured at the Saturday night dinner function.
