The Foundation for Lee County Public Schools Appoints Attorney John Miller to Board

Fort Myers, FL, August 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. are pleased to announce that Attorney John Miller has been appointed to serve on the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools (the “Foundation”) Board of Directors. The Foundation is a non-profit charitable education foundation which strives to enhance the quality of public education in Lee County for students and educators through corporate, individual and educational partnerships. Over the past 25 years, the Foundation has generated more than $30 million dollars to further public education in Lee County Public Schools.

Miller focuses his litigation practice in tort and insurance defense, municipal and governmental liability defense, and professional negligence defense. He also speaks and writes frequently before public and private associations on matters of social media and technology in litigation.

Miller has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers® magazine (2011, 2013) as a “Rising Star” in the field of civil litigation defense. He also received the James A. Dixon Young Lawyer of the Year Award from the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (2012). Miller is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

Miller is Chairman of the Young Lawyers Division and co-chair of the Social Networking Committee of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association. He also serves as President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Lee County Bar Association. Miller also serves on the Child Care of Southwest Florida, Inc. Board of Directors.
