Gate6 executive “does time” in support of those in the community affected by muscle diseases.
Phoenix, AZ, August 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The CEO of Phoenix digital agency Gate6 is helping raise money for individuals and families affected by neuromuscular diseases by participating in the 2013 MDA Executive Lock-Up. As part of the charity fundraiser, prominent businesspeople throughout the valley have volunteered to get “locked up” until they raise enough money to post “bail.”
As a “most wanted” leader, Manish Mamnani is working to raise at least $3,200 by asking business associates, family members and friends to make donations. All money raised by the Lock-Up goes toward worldwide research, advocacy, education, and comprehensive health care and support services. The MDA is hoping to reach a goal of $210,000 by the fundraiser’s Sept. 27, 2013, deadline.
The Executive Lock-Up takes place Aug. 27, 2013, at Stand Up Live in Phoenix, 50 W. Jefferson St. #200. All Jailbirds get the chance to network with other local business leaders and meet those who are being helped by the fundraiser at this event.
Donations can be made through Manish’s personalized fundraising website at www2.mda.org/goto/mmamnani. Donators can select to pay for things like sending a child to summer camp, covering the cost of a support group session, funding a flu shot, supporting research, or they can simply make a general donation.
