Soderstrom Architects Adds Seven Individuals

Portland, OR, August 17, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Soderstrom Architects, a Portland-based architecture, planning and interior design firm, has recently added seven employees to their workforce: Hugh Bitzer, Blair Fitzgibbon, Keith Daily, Robert Allen, Andy Barker, Marc Seguela, and Michael Starker.

Hugh Bitzer, is a recent graduate from the University of Oregon and has one year experience working on a variety of project types that include retail and mixed-use. He is currently working on a science building remodel located on Southern Oregon University’s campus.

Blair Fitzgibbon, is a registered architect in Oregon with almost 25 years experience and is returning to Soderstrom after working for Portland Public Schools for almost 18 years. He will work primarily on K-12 education projects and specifically Bethel School District’s new elementary school.

Robert B. Allen is joining Soderstrom Architects with extensive knowledge of K-12 school design and programming along with experience in healthcare projects. He has nine years of architectural experience and is currently part of the Southern Oregon University’s science building remodel team.

Andy Barker is rejoining the firm after leaving in 2006 and moving to Kansas City. He joins Soderstrom as a BIM/REVIT expert who has been heavily dedicated to designing university residence projects. Andy will manage Soderstrom’s REVIT processes for both education and healthcare projects.

Keith Daily is also is returning to Soderstrom after leaving in 2006 and moving to New York City. He has 13 years experience and adds a strong residential background to our diverse team. He is joining the firm’s K-12 education team, and currently providing design and technical support for the Bethel School District’s new science building.

Marc Seguela is a registered architect in Oregon with almost 25 years experience and a background in project management, building assessments, new site development and construction administration. He will be providing technical support for both new elementary schools being designed for Bethel School District.

Michael Starker is a senior project architect with 25 plus years experience. His background covers a range of project types from large government institutions to award-winning commercial design with a predominant focus on healthcare.
