Pittsburgh Graphics Firm Ocreations Designs Wiz Khalifa Tour Posters
Working with Rostrum Records, award-winning design firm Ocreations created the illustration and layout for Wiz Khalifa's Under the Influence of Music Tour posters and merchandise.
Pittsburgh, PA, August 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ocreations, a Pittsburgh cutting-edge design solutions firm, was selected to do the design for best selling hip hop artist Wiz Khalifa for his Under the Influence of Music Tour in the U.S. and Canada. The ocreations design was used for the promotional poster for the tour, electronic promotion on Facebook and other social media, as well as concert shirts and merchandise sold at the events.
The ocreations team worked with Rostrum Records to develop and perfect a unique design that would appeal to the hip hop target audience for the tour. The design chosen was a combination of hand-drawn illustration combined with cutting-edge computer graphics to create a smoky urban feel which hit the mark for the client and audience. Nina Zivkovic was the lead illustrator and Jared Dieffenbach was the designer, art director and project coordinator.
Ocreations has won several awards over the past few years, including the 2010 and 2011 Marketer of the Year Award in the Minority and Women Owned Businesses Category from the American Marketing Association (AMA), Pittsburgh chapter for their stellar campaign for the Pittsburgh Irish Festival. In 2011, they won the Ragan Communications award for Best Overall Annual Report along with Giant Eagle and in 2010, ocreations was named Best Overall Agency in Pittsburgh.
