Family Law Attorney Christina O'Brien Elected to Family Resource Center Board

Fort Myers, FL, August 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A., is pleased to announce that Attorney Christina O’Brien has been elected to the Family Resource Center of Southwest Florida's Board of Directors (the “Center”). The Center is the only court-approved facility in Lee County that works in conjunction with the Children’s Advocacy Center to provide supervision services, education and training to Southwest Florida families who are required to have monitored family time.

O’Brien concentrates her family law practice in matters of dissolution of marriage (divorce), custody, paternity, child support, domestic violence injunctions, post-judgment modifications and dependency issues. Throughout her career, she has handled and tried both jury and non-jury trials in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit (Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades Counties) and the Twelfth Judicial Circuit (Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties) Florida. She is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts. Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, O’Brien had her own practice in Fort Myers where she handled family law and civil cases.

O’Brien is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, the Lee County Bar Association, the Association of Family Law Professionals, and the Lee County Association of Women Lawyers. She is a member of the Fort Myers Track Club and also volunteers for the Running Club at St. Francis Xavier School.
