Home Connect TV for Realtors Expands Into Las Vegas
Home Connect TV provides a low cost way for realtors to list their properties on television from the convenience of their own computer. The service is about to celebrate its first anniversary in Jacksonville, and just launched in Las Vegas.
Jacksonville, FL, August 21, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Jacksonville-based company plans rollout of new, low-cost ad technology in other US cities.
Home Connect TV, a two-hour show highlighting available local residential properties, began airing in Las Vegas eight hours a day beginning Saturday, Aug. 17 on the Cox Network Cable Channel 108 – the first of many cities where the show will be rolled out over the next 12 months.
Created by a group of Jacksonville investors to fill an advertising void in the residential real estate industry, Home Connect TV began airing in northeast Florida on WJXT-TV Channel 4 last September.
“The recession of 2008 left realtors scrambling for a cost-effective way to reach potential homebuyers,” said Home Connect TV President Michael Anapolsky. “When Comcast chose not to continue running the real estate channel locally, which happened in cities throughout the country, we saw an opportunity and approached Channel 4 about airing something that would fill that need.”
Due to the explosion of the internet, the group had already created Vesta Vu in 2009 – a technology that allows any realtor to upload information on their home inventory easily from their own computer and post it on-line.
“From there, we used the next step in the technology that allows commercials to be easily uploaded by realtors, which we then convert for television broadcast,” Anapolsky said. ”Home Connect TV offers realtors a low-cost method, about $25 per placement, to run high-quality commercials on their sale properties.”
Home Connect TV currently runs from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday on WJXT-TV4, the most viewed local station, and has grown in ratings to become the top local show among adults during its time slot.
