Fundraiser:
The 2013 Malibu Film Festival is a fundraiser for the non-profit Festival to purchase a "state of the art" outdoor digital cinema package including a (55ft movie screen, DLP projector, Dolby audio system,) to screen films on the scenic beaches of Malibu each summer. Malibu and the audience demands a premiere film festival and this equipment will empower the Malibu Film Festival to entertain a larger audience and showcase artist's work in the best presentation possible. The equipment will be available to other non-profits (at no cost). The fundraising goal is ($75,000) to pay for the AirScreen digital cinema equipment. The Malibu Film Festival has launched an indiegogo crowd source funding campaign to help raise the funds.

"We are hopeful that the entertainment industry and the community of Malibu will support our cause by making on-line donations and attending this year's Malibu Film Festival." - David Katz, Festival Founder
