Living La Dolce Vita in Italy: Enroll in September Courses

The renowned Italian language school Leonardo da Vinci is proud to announce its new September session of the Italian language and culture course “La Dolce Vita,” dedicated to people over 50 years old.

Florence, Italy, August 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- After almost ten years of great popularity, the special program La Dolce Vita will come back in September in all the venues of Scuola Leonardo da Vinci.

Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is among the most renowned schools that offer Italian language and culture courses to foreign people from all over the world. The four venues are located in Florence, Milan, Rome and Siena.

Founded in Florence in 1977, the school guarantees a high level of instruction and a warm reception to all foreigners. In fact, hundreds of students have become faithful followers of our programs and continue to come back year after year.

One of our most popular courses, La Dolce Vita is an immersion into the many nuances of Italian culture. It is designed for students who are over 50 years old but it has proven equally popular with much younger students who are curious or already passionate about Italian art and traditions.

Mornings are dedicated to the Italian language and culture courses, which are specially geared to students’ current level of speaking ability. Afternoons and weekends are for excursions and cultural visits.

Depending on the location of the school attended, these may include discovering the beauties of Chianti, Southern Tuscany, the lake and hills district of Rome; guided visits to museums such as the Brera, the Vatican or the Uffizi; an afternoon of indulgence at a thermal spa, an introduction to local culinary traditions and/or dinners and aperitifs in the most typical restaurants of a specific region.

Detailed programs are available on the official website of the school.

The school offers assistance to whoever needs lodging for the duration of the course. Participants can choose among different kinds of accommodations: private or shared apartments, host families, hotels, residences or B&Bs or, for nature lovers, the “agriturismo” (picturesque country villas).

Participants will have the opportunity to choose their stay duration, from one to two weeks, depending on their desire to continue this cultural exploration.

Starting dates of the course are staggered to offer a convenient range of choices for students:

La Dolce Vita in Florence: 2nd – 6th September or 2nd – 15th September.
La Dolce Vita in Rome: 16th – 20th September or 16th – 27th September.
La Dolce Vita in Milan or in Siena: 30th September – 4th October or 30th September – 11th October.
