Taco Bueno to Remodel Store in Sapulpa, Okla.
Dallas, TX, August 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Taco Bueno® is proud to announce that the company has begun rebuilding its store in Sapulpa, Okla. Located in Sapulpa at 722 S. Main St., the official groundbreaking ceremony took place on Wednesday, August 21 at 10:00 AM, with representatives of the Sapulpa, Okla. community. The store is expected to reopen for business in mid-October. The company’s brand new TaGO Bueno truck will make an appearance at the ceremony and stay open onsite for the remainder of the day to sell Bueno food to the Sapulpa community.
“After a devastating fire, Taco Bueno is extremely excited to soon reopen our location in Sapulpa,” said Mike Roper, Chief Technology and Development Officer. “The community has been tremendous to work with and we look forward to bringing back jobs, tax revenue, and great tasting Taco Bueno food to the area.”
The Sapulpa store will be the first Taco Bueno restaurant to be completely rebuilt with the new Modern Pueblo design. The restaurant has been leveled and will be made with the new design created in partnership with Plan B Group, Inc. Only a handful of other stores have utilized this new look. The primary design feature is the use of a Gabion wall system, which is a simple wire mesh and rock retaining wall that has been used for centuries. The Gabion walls provide a fresh modern look to act as a new brand icon that will be used going forward. Once finished, the building will be able to hold 72 diners. This dining experience will mirror the commitment to a high quality and extraordinary service experience found in other Taco Bueno restaurants.
“The Sapulpa restaurant has been part of this great community for many years and we are very excited to re-open the restaurant with our latest design building,” commented Ramon Torres, Senior Vice President of Operations. “Also exciting is the unveiling of our new food truck, which will be at the ground breaking ceremony serving the community of Sapulpa.”
To help celebrate the groundbreaking of the Sapulpa store, the TaGO Bueno truck will be making an all-day appearance to sell food from a limited menu out of the Taco Bueno parking lot. The TaGO Bueno truck is the newest addition to the Taco Bueno family and will help the company sell its fresh Tex-Mex food from virtually anywhere. Sapulpa will be the second town to greet the truck as it has only traveled to Tulsa during the area-wide power outage. It is exciting to have the truck visit Sapulpa due to the town’s large Buenohead fan base. Buenoheads of the Sapulpa community are encouraged to come to the site and get their Taco Bueno fix to tide them over until the official grand opening of the new store. The truck is expected to sell a selection of tacos, burritos, nachos, quesadillas, and drinks for the ceremony. Coupons will also be handed out to customers of the truck, encouraging fans to come back for the store opening.
The Sapulpa restaurant is proud to announce that it will be retaining most of its former employees from the store before the fire. The company is also supporting local businesses for the construction and design needs of our newest restaurant.
