Eco-Mail Hires John Schloff as Managing Director-Marketing
Former VollyTM Executive Brings Paperless Mail Services Experience to Eco-mail. Eco-mail delivers exchange based technology that makes paperless mail more useful, interesting and efficient for every market participant—Producers of mail, Distribution/payment processing networks and most of all Consumers.
Stamford, CT, August 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Eco-mail, a new entrant into the digital mail market, further strengthens its leadership team with the appointment of John Schloff as the Managing Director of Marketing. Schloff brings 25+ years of leadership experience in the document industry, along with an intimate knowledge of the paperless mail services space.
Schloff previously served as VP Global Strategy and New Business Development at Pitney Bowes, where he launched multiple SaaS enterprise software businesses and led the team that created and managed the early incubation of VollyTM, a competitive participant in the digital mailbox space. Prior to Pitney Bowes, Schloff was VP Marketing/Product Management for Kodak Polychrome Graphics where he launched numerous digital document and print businesses. Schloff earned a BA in Economics from USC, magna cum laude, and an MBA from Pepperdine University, summa cum laude.
“The timing is right for us to add marketing depth to the leadership team. We have successfully completed a pilot in one of the big three banks validating the technology platform and we are shifting focus towards go-to-market,” stated Jay Maller, Founder and CEO of Eco-mail. “John’s depth of experience launching new SaaS based technologies and his early experience in the digital mail market make him a powerful addition to the team.”
Matt Swain from InfoTrends had this to say about Schloffs addition to the team: “Where Eco-mail’s founders have experience in the banking channel, Schloff brings extensive knowledge of the mailing market and, more specifically, of the early days of incubating a digital mailbox service. With this complementary expertise, Schloff makes a strong addition to the team.”
Eco-mail was built on the belief that an industry wide solution is required to break thru the paperless mail barrier. Instead of taking a proprietary, winner-take-all approach, Eco-mail has developed an industry exchange platform that benefits all three stakeholders in the digital and paperless mail market: producers, consumers, and distributors of mail.
Eco-mail’s IP segregates content security from distribution security within an exchange platform that opens up distribution of paperless mail services to existing organizations with massive digital audiences. It streamlines operations for producers that only have to feed a single industry platform, and simplifies life for consumers who can choose a destination they already visit, such as their bank, to be the distributor of their digital mail, and their online bill pay.
“It’s exciting to be part of the Eco-mail team. I’m convinced that our industry wide exchange platform will break thru the barriers that have stalled this market,” stated Schloff. “For distributors of paperless and digital mail, we go well beyond white label solutions by enabling them to fully integrate this compelling content into their unique, branded digital properties, such as streamlined online bill pay. This provides a more complete and intuitive customer experience that will accelerate consumer adoption.”
Eco-mail was founded by three former Morgan Stanley senior executives: Jay Maller ran product development as Managing Director - Primer Brokerage, David Jacobs managed Global Consumer Investment Banking as Managing Director, and Bikram Chaudri led product development as Executive Director – Trade Capture Systems.
