With only four days remaining in Fear City Chicago's schedule, haunted house fans will have only a few remaining days to see "Fear City 2013" and "Fables Studios Carnivale" and new for this season, a special program for "Day of the Dead" on November 1st and 2nd.
Morton Grove, IL, October 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Fear City and Fables Studios are gearing up for the final days of the 2013 Halloween 2013. A special "Day of the Dead" program sponsored in part by LaRaza Newspaper and WLEY "LeLey" Radio will wrap this year's presentation Season 3 at Fear City Chicago.
The Day of the Dead (or Dia de Muertos) is holiday from Mexico, celebrated now around the world, focusing on gatherings of friends and family to remember those who have passed, but also to celebrate life with festivals and parades. In Mexico, where Day of the Dead continues to be a largely reverent and rural tradition intended to celebrate death, the festivities have taken on a modern, commercial feel, much like Christmas or Halloween.
Final Show Dates are October 30, 31 and November 1, 2 with the performances running from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm (and Fridays & Saturdays to 2 midnight) at 8240 Austin Avenue, Morton Grove, IL 60053.
