Marshfield Happens - Pre-Game Sports Seeks Marshfield Slogans for Upcoming Series of T-Shirts and Jerseys
When Pre-Game Sports introduced a Welcome to Marsh Vegas t-shirt over the summer, it had trouble keeping the new shirts on the shelves.
Marshfield, MA, September 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Simulating a neon sign from a Las Vegas strip casino, the 100 percent cotton shirts struck a chord with local customers who wanted to proudly display Marshfields pet name.
For its next round of Marshfield-centric jerseys, Pre-Game is looking for some help from customers.
How many times have you come up with a slogan or saying and thought, that would make a great t-shirt? "Long before we added screen-printing and embroidery services to the business, that happened to me all the time," said Lisa Seyffert, co-owner of Pre-Game Sports. "So even though we think we’ve got some pretty good Marshfield slogans in the tank, there’s always a better one out there and that’s why we’re inviting our customers to submit their Marshfield-centric slogan for our next shirt."
Submissions for Pre-Game’s slogan contest must contain either Marshfield or a section of Marshfield. For example:
- Green Habbah
- Brant Rock 02020
- Rexhame Rocks
To be eligible, your slogan must be received by November 30, 2007. If Pre-Game selects your slogan, you’ll win the first shirt with your Marshfield-ism, a Marsh Vegas shirt, and 10% off your next purchase at Pre-Game Sports. You can submit your idea by e-mail (Pre-GameSports@verizon.net), snail mail (26 Snow Road, Webster Square, Marshfield, MA 02050) or at the counter.
"We have a lot of fun with the shirts, jackets and other items we create for our customers," said Seyffert. "With this contest, we’re letting our fellow Marshfield residents in on it."
In addition to Marshfield-centric shirts, Pre-Game offers screen printing and embroidery services for local sports teams and companies. Pre-Game has a no order is too large or small policy, which is evident in the range of customers who take advantage of this service from Clean Harbors Environmental Services to local swimming clubs to family reunions.
With more than 4,000 square feet of space, Pre-Game Sports carries full lines of equipment and accessories for all the major sports football, baseball, basketball and hockey as well as the up-and-coming soccer and lacrosse and the extreme paintball and knee hockey. Pre-Game also carries fan gear for all the Boston sports teams and offers skate-sharpening services for the hockey and figure skating crowd.
Pre-Game Sports is an active member of the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce and heavily involved with youth organizations in the Town of Marshfield, like the Marshfield Boys & Girls Club and the Coastal Stars youth hockey program.
