Morning Time, Any Time
The Cereal Bowl Grand Opening.
Miami, FL, January 03, 2006 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday January 21st, The Cereal Bowl will open the doors to its inaugural café in the legendary Rivera Plaza. This landmark has been a Miami tradition for decades and is located directly across from the University of Miami and adjacent to several major retail districts. “Miami was a fantastic spot to launch our first café” CFO Joshua Rader said. “With such a diverse population and incredible upbeat atmosphere, we knew this had to be it.”
The 1,800-square-foot café will feature over 35 cereals and 60 toppings. Customers will have the opportunity to try the store’s trademark Cold Cereal Bowls including Frostbite which is made up of Frosted Flakes, Frosted Mini-Wheat, Snow Caps, and Coconut. Alongside the cold bowls will also be Hot Bowls such as Haul’n Oats made with Oatmeal, Maple Syrup, Raisins, Dried Cranberries, Coconut, and Chopped Walnuts.
In addition to the distinct cold and hot creations, customers will be able to take advantage of a phenomenon known as Create-A-Bowl. This option will allow customers to be their own “personal chef” and invent their own perfect bowl of cereal.
Another aspect of this unique idea is the concept of Beyond the Bowl. This category is devoted to cereal outside the bowl. Oatmeal smoothies known as Oaties are the most popular choice with Cereal Shakes, Bars and Granola rounding out the bunch. “We really wanted to take cereal to the next level” says Vice-President Michael Glassman “and this was the most delicious way we knew how!”
At The Cereal Bowl, the experience is just as important as what is on the menu. The Cereal Bowl team hopes to create an environment that is welcoming to all generations. From young children and college students to the everyday businessman, the Cereal Bowl boasts diverse features to accommodate everyone. Study areas, magazines, newspapers, and plasma TVs broadcasting everything from CNN to cartoons are just a few of the atmosphere enhancements this café has to offer.
“I am taken aback by the amount of interest and excitement people have shown,” says CEO Kenneth Rader. “People seem to really have fallen in love with this concept and want to know when we will be bringing The Cereal Bowl to a location near them”. However, fellow Cereal Lovers might not have long to wait. The Cereal Bowl already has expansion plans in the works. Both partnership and franchise opportunities are in the foreseeable future to meet the overwhelming demand of the e-mails and proposals The Cereal Bowl has received.
About The Cereal Bowl
The Cereal Bowl is a new breed of café fusing an old time favorite, with a new and exciting twist. Guests will be able to make their own cereal creations or pick from one of many unique combinations created by The Cereal Bowl Team. With over 35 cereals both hot and cold as well as 60 plus toppings, the possibilities are endless. The experience does not end with the bowl. Cereal bars, oatmeal smoothies known as Oaties, and cakes will take cereal to a whole new level. WIFI Internet, couches, televisions, newspapers, and periodicals will add to the ambiance of The Cereal Bowl.
Founded in 2004 by twenty-something entupenuers Kenneth Rader, Joshua Rader, and Michael Glassman. The inspiration for The Cereal Bowl was a product of their college days when they noticed that the average diet of a college student often times consisted of a bowl of cereal as a quick and appetizing alternative. The Cereal Bowl expands on this enticing snack by offering a new way of partaking in one of America’s favorite eating pastimes.
