MMI Public Relations Expands Leadership Team
Triangle-Based Firm Plansto Roll Out Additional Client Offerings.
Raleigh, NC, August 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Robert Buhler, chairman of MMI Public Relations, a full-service public relations firm, has announced that the firm has expanded its leadership team in response to its growth over the past year. While MMI has traditionally been known for its public relations expertise, the expansion of its leadership team will also bring additional changes to its services in order to meet ongoing demand from clients both in Raleigh and other U.S. markets. The firm is investing in additional strategy and consulting services and planning to roll out new offerings in the areas of digital, creative and analytics services.
MMI's leadership team is as follows:
Robert Buhler has transitioned from his role of president to chairman of MMI Public Relations. In this new position, Buhler will oversee client relations, operations, finance and business development. In addition, Buhler will drive the implementation of MMI's planned new offerings in digital and analytics solutions.
Al Leach has joined MMI as president. Leach comes to MMI with an extensive background in brand reputation management, business strategy and corporate communications, including crisis management, digital marketing, consumer product public relations and thought leadership across all major industries. In addition to serving as in-house counsel for The New York Times for nearly a decade, Leach served in leadership positions at leading global public relations firms and major corporations, including roles as senior vice president and managing director at Burson-Marsteller as well as director of North American communications at both Deloitte and The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. As president of MMI, Leach will drive client strategy and promote the firm's business development and growth initiatives.
Michelle Fowler, formerly vice president of account management, has been promoted to executive vice president. In her nearly 10 years with the firm, Fowler has been involved in every aspect of MMI's growth as well as the strategy behind both client and company development. As executive vice president, Fowler will expand her role in client services, quality assurance and professional development.
