Whiskey Jack Gaming Announces Kickstarter for "Pong Tactics" Drinking Card Game
Pong Tactics is a strategy card game that adds new gameplay mechanics to the classic drinking game beer pong. This party game will change the way beer pong is played and will make for a unique experience every game.
Frankfort, KY, August 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Whiskey Jack Gaming LLC has announced the launch of its Kickstarter for the publishing of Pong Tactics, a new strategy card game that builds upon the game of beer pong. In Pong Tactics, teams compete against each other not only with ping pong balls, but a wide variety of cards that may be played strategically to help their team or hinder their opponent.
The waterproof plastic cards that make up Pong Tactics have rules on them that change every aspect of the classic drinking game, such as how the cups are set up on the table, how many shots per turn, how you shoot, what happens what a shot is made into a cup, and many more. Each team can choose when to play their cards, which makes for a wide variety of possibilities and makes every game unique.
In order to publish this game, Whiskey Jack Gaming needs help and has turned to Kickstarter, a popular crowd-funding web site, so that they can raise the money needed to produce a quality game with truly waterproof components. In return for a pledge anywhere from $1 to $1000 or more, each backer of the game will receive a reward. Many will pledge simply to receive a copy of the finished product ($25), but others may be interested in adding a T-shirt for $20 more, or even pledging at the $250 level and having the chance to invent their own custom card which will be included in the final version of the game.
"I developed a simple prototype deck and playtested it with some friends at a gaming convention in Columbus, OH," said Benjamin Mentzer, CEO and founder of Whiskey Jack Gaming LLC. "I received great feedback and the encouragement to try to publish this game. I have researched the Kickstarter model of crowd-funding a game successfully and look forward to interacting with my backers and reaching a large audience of gamers and drinkers!"
