MotionElements Announces New Submission Contest – Call for Motion Heroes Challenge

MotionElements announces the Call for Motion Heroes Challenge, a submission contest that rewards Artists who submit qualified After Effects templates during the contest period.

Singapore, Singapore, September 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- MotionElements (ME) is announcing the launch of its first ever video templates submission contest in the form of the Call for Motion Heroes Challenge. The company known for its Asia-inspired marketplace for stock animation, video footage, 3D models, After Effects and Apple Motion templates is calling upon motion graphics artists around the world to submit entries to stand a chance to win cash prizes.

Years ago, MotionElements was founded with the intention of saving post-production creatives from the difficulties and challenges of the industry. At the time, the demand was with reliable and high quality video footage and animation assets. With its growing marketplace and some help from the hero themed campaign in the ME Heroes Survival Guide, MotionElements has provided stock video elements to thousands of customers. In the advent of video templates, the Asia-inspired marketplace hopes to achieve better results by bringing back the Motion Heroes. This time around, the contributors or ME Artists, are front and center as they get the chance to meet the industry’s demand for video templates and get rewarded.

After Effects templates are ready-made project files from Adobe’s popular motion graphics software that offer a greater level of customization for special effects and animation. According to Mark Sun, Co-Founder of MotionElements, “The format has gained its fame for the complexity of its visual effects capabilities and extensive support from plug-ins,” referencing the communities that have been established in recent years dedicated to adding features and functions to After Effects.

The Call for Motion Heroes Challenge will reward artists who submit qualified templates from a specified theme throughout the contest period. The contest has a sizable shared prize pool that rewards Artists who are fast to react to the contest announcement. The submission contest also includes varying additional winning mechanics such as rewarding Artists who upload the most number of qualified templates as well as a consolation awarded via a raffle draw from all qualified submissions, to name a few.

Along with the numerous chances that Artists can reap rewards for participating, the submitted and approved templates also enjoy all the benefits of selling through the MotionElements marketplace. This means that Artists will still enjoy up to 70% commissions for the sale of their templates, all the while retaining principal authorship. In turn, buyers on the other hand enjoy a stream of new, creative and exciting After Effects templates for use in their video production. Co-Founder Joanne Chua is optimistic in stating “On top of the opportunity for passive income, we wish to reward Artists who are savvy to the industry’s needs in motion graphics. We are hopeful that this contest will encourage them to continue what they do best and contribute to the community by providing compelling After Effects templates in the marketplace.”

The Call for Motion Heroes Challenge is currently ongoing. Artists are invited to submit their qualified templates for the current theme on the Festivals and Special Occasions category to be automatically entered into the contest. A significant portion of the rewards will be given on a first come first serve basis so Artists are encouraged to react quickly and publish their submissions as soon as possible. The submission period closes on 15 October 2013, and winners will be announced shortly thereafter.
