Tenet Florida Physician Services Welcomes Neurologist Ariol Labrada, M.D., to Neurology Team in Miami-Dade County
Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) announces that bilingual neurologist Dr. Ariol Labrada joins the multi-specialty physician group as the newest member of the Neurology team serving patients in Miami-Dade County. He is a member of the American Heart/Stroke Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Neurology.
Miami, FL, August 31, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Board-certified neurologist Ariol Labrada, M.D., joins Tenet Florida Physician Services (TFPS) as a specialist with core interests in stroke and Vascular Neurology, neurocritical care, polyneuropathies and headaches. Dr. Ariol Labrada is board-certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Labrada’s office is located at 7100 W. 20th Ave., Suite 504, in Hialeah, and he is on staff at Hialeah Hospital, Palmetto General Hospital and Coral Gables Hospital.
Dr. Labrada completed a Vascular Neurology Fellowship at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. Prior to the fellowship, he was a neurology resident at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he was Chief Resident and the Neurocritical Care Resident of the Year in 2012. He attended medical school at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas Santiago de Cuba. His postdoctoral training and internships included stints at LSU and Hospital Docente Provincial Holguin in Cuba.
Dr. Labrada’s past experience includes clinical research on seven different studies including neuropathy, ischemic stroke, cerebrovascular biorepository, heart valves and aneurismal subarachnoid hemorrhage. He is a member of the American Heart/Stroke Association, American Medical Association and American Academy of Neurology.
During previous professional experience as a house physician, Dr. Labrada took care of patients at five different hospitals and an ambulatory center in Miami. He also served patients as a first surgical assistant in five separate surgery lines (neurosurgery, vascular surgery, general and endoscope surgery, urological, orthopedic and plastic surgery).
