J.P. Turner Employees Volunteer in Support of Back on My Feet Atlanta

Atlanta, GA, September 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Employees and their family members assisted with the race, held at the Historic Fourth Ward Park in downtown Atlanta, by arriving bright and early to set up and man the water stations at the finish line, work the registration table, distribute T-Shirts and create signs. Their efforts assisted the race director and provided motivation and support to the 400 registered runners that participated.

Back on My Feet’s mission is to use running to create self-sufficiency in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. The program’s success is measured by how many Residential Members (those experiencing homelessness) achieve independence by finding employment and housing. The Meaningful Miles 5K honors Back on My Feet Atlanta’s three teams with each mile -- Trinity Community Ministries, Gateway Center and Salvation Army.
