Annual Fall Festival Dates Announced at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino
Dover, DE, September 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announces dates for its fall festivals, the Twelfth Annual Wine & Music Festival on Saturday, October 26, and the Eighth Annual Chocolate Festival on Saturday, November 30.
The Wine & Music Festival will be Halloween themed and take place in the Rollins Center® from 3 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Guests are invited to dress in costume for fun and prizes. There will be a variety of informative wine seminars, live entertainment, and gift and food marketplaces. General admission of $25 includes wine glass and wine tasting. The VIP experience is offered for $40 and includes wine glass, wine tasting, food and seating. A designated driver ticket at $15 includes unlimited, free soft drinks.
The family-friendly Chocolate Festival will be held in the Rollins Center and take place from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be chocolate, gifts and holiday decorations to purchase, in addition to live, holiday musical and choral performances. Children may enjoy the gingerbread and candy holiday village, electric train display, ice carving competition, and photos with “Santa.” Children are admitted to Chocolate Festival for free. Visitors older than 18 will pay only $5 for admission at the door.
The Delaware Hospice annual Kent County Festival of Trees will be held concurrently with the Chocolate Festival. Themed evergreen trees and wreaths will be on display throughout the hotel lobby and in the Rollins Center.
