Jerky Up for Our Troops

Evansville, IN, September 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- House of Jerky is an Indiana based Company that produces some great beef jerky. This company has taken an active role in assuring that our troops overseas receive care packages from home. Taking care of the troops who guard our freedom is something that House of Jerky is very proud of. House of Jerky receives many letters and e-mails from our troops, thanking them for the packages, and letting the owners know that jerky is a top item on their wish lists. Many of these Soldiers have signed up with Soldiers Angels, a non profit organization that supports our troops. House of Jerky has partnered with Soldiers Angels, and donates a percentage of their profits to them. For this Holiday Season, House of Jerky is offering an opportunity to “Donate and send a ¼ pound of jerky to our troops for Christmas. When you purchase the package to send to our troops, House of Jerky will match customer's donations. It only costs $10.50 to make a Soldier smile. Customers can also include a personalized note that will be printed out on a holiday card for the soldier who receives your package.

Janie Honeycutt, Owner of House of Jerky, says, “We will be sending our 2 oz. bags of jerky, as this means more packages to spread around to all of the soldiers. We want everyone to be able to have a yummy treat. So, when you purchase a ¼ pound for a soldier, we will be sending 4 of the 2 oz bags. We realize there are a lot of soldiers, so we want to gather as many bags as we can to send.”

House of Jerky will send out all bags donated on December 1, to insure our troops receive their jerky in time for Christmas. Soldiers Angels will provide us with units to send them to.
