Ramey Kemp & Associates Adds New Professionals to Its Raleigh and Charlotte Offices

Raleigh, NC, September 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. (RKA) is pleased to announce the addition of
four new hires to strengthen the company’s services in transportation engineering, planning and design across the Southeast United States.

“These individuals bring added talent to the organization’s traffic engineering and roadway design teams and I am delighted to welcome them to our company,” said Montell (Monty) Irvin, P.E., PTOE, President and CEO of Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc.

Joining Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. are Kyle Phinney, P.E., LEEDAP, roadway design engineer; Andrew Eagle,P.E., PTOE, senior transportation engineer; David Jordan, transportation associate; and Chase Smith, transportation intern.

Kyle Phinney, P.E., LEEDAP, Roadway Design/Hydraulic Engineer
Phinney joins Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. from HAKS Engineering where he served as a senior civil engineer in the company’s New York, NY office. He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Additionally, he is a registered engineer in NC and NY and a LEED Accredited Professional. Kyle will work out of RKA’s Raleigh, NC office.

Andrew Eagle, P.E., PTOE Senior Transportation Engineer
Eagle joins Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. from STV/Ralph Whitehead Associates, Inc. where he served as a transportation engineer in the company’s Charlotte, NC office. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Charlotte with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering. Andrew is a registered engineer in NC and is also a certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). Andrew will work out of RKA’s Charlotte, NC office.

David Jordan, Transportation Associate
Jordan joins Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. as a recent graduate from NC State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. David will work out of RKA’s Raleigh, NC office with the traffic engineering group. As a transportation associate, David will assist with the preparation of traffic impact studies, roadway design, traffic signal design, and traffic data collection efforts.

Chase Smith, Transportation Intern
Smith joins Ramey Kemp & Associates, Inc. as a current student at NC State University, where he will receive his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in December of this year. Chase will work out of RKA’s Raleigh, NC with the traffic engineering group.
