MGI Repetti LLP Participates in Island Harvest Food Drive

New York, NY, September 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- MGI Repetti LLP is pleased to announce that through generous employee donations, the firm has donated over 286 pounds of food, as well as monetary donations, to Island Harvest; the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island. Island Harvest volunteers and staff collect surplus food from over 800 local restaurants, caterers, farms, and other food-related organizations. The organization distributes the food to a network of 570 soup kitchens, pantries, and other places where there are people in need.

Throughout the month of August, MGIR’s employees brought low sodium canned goods, health food items, soups, whole wheat pasta and cereal, and beverages such as Boost and Ensure to drop boxes located at their Long Island office in Plainview, New York.

Every month, MGI Repetti LLP chooses a new charitable initiative to which their employees graciously donate. In 2013, MGIR has made generous donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the North Shore Animal League, Oral, Head & Neck Cancer Awareness, KARUNA, Lead the Way Foundation, Island Harvest and for the month of September, Tuesday’s Children. MGIR employees feel strongly about giving back to the community and helping those in need.
