Campus Evolution Villages Acquires Greensboro, NC Student Housing Complex
Lifestyle-Enhanced, Off-Campus Housing Becomes the Place to Live for North Carolina A&T State University Students
New York, NY, September 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Campus Evolution Villages, LLC has acquired Campus Green, a 233-unit, 674-bed student housing property located in Greensboro, NC. The development, which sits on 30 lush acres, is located at 799 Castlewood Drive - directly across the street from the entrance to North Carolina A&T State University and a football throw away from Aggie Stadium. Campus Green is the newest addition to Campus Evolution Village's uniquely student housing-centric portfolio.
"College students want more than a dorm or conventional off-campus housing," says CEO Andrew Stark, "They want a home away from home." Campus Green offers students fully furnished units, many with private bedrooms and bathrooms, wireless internet and 42-inch flat screen televisions in every unit. Residents have access to a spacious clubhouse with a movie room, computer lounge, game area, study lounge, a new state-of-the-art fitness center and community-based events designed to connect residents to all that university life has to offer.
Originally retained as a property manager to boost occupancy and upgrade operations, Campus Evolution Villages' management team installed best-in-class onsite staff. The result: Occupancy climbed and overall property performance improved. According to Chief Investment Officer Evan Denner, “Campus Evolution Villages works with property owners to create and implement marketing, leasing and operational programs for underperforming assets. By capitalizing on our unique insight into student housing and our proprietary programs, we are building one of the strongest, most exciting platforms in the off-campus student housing space. Our focus is on the individual student, his or her parents, the university and the neighboring community.”
The acquisition was completed with Campus Evolution Villages partners, Barry Reichmann and associates of Reichmann International Development Corporation, a Toronto, Canada-based firm.
