Retailer of American Made Gifts to Open Store in Boise

Boise, ID, September 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- One year ago, Idaho-based retailer rosieMADE began its mission of empowering women through commerce and community, and this week, the company will celebrate a significant milestone in its growth—the grand opening of a brick and mortar store in North Boise.

For its first year, rosieMADE was an online-only retailer offering high quality, American made goods from women-friendly businesses across the USA. The company will continue to offer its full product selection online to customers nationwide, and has added the storefront so local customers may have the opportunity to see and even sample rosieMADE’s USA made products.

The grand opening celebration takes place Thursday, September 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at rosieMADE’s new location at 2033 N. 35th St. in Boise. Treasure Valley residents are invited to shop and take advantage of grand opening discounts and specials such as a free rosieMADE chocolate bar with every purchase over $15, and the first 25 guests will receive a free rosieMADE water bottle.

Other grand opening festivities include product giveaways, painting demonstrations from E11even Shades Studio, vendor booths, and samples from Momo Dumplings. Samples of products carried by rosieMADE will be available, too. Vendors and rosieMADE partners have offered additional giveaway items, so there will be many chances for guests to win.

While rosieMADE’s online presence and web commerce will still be an important and ever-expanding part of its business model—which includes being a resource for women-owned businesses—CEO and founder Alicia Vanderschuere hopes the storefront will allow for additional opportunities to create a community of American craftspeople. Vanderschuere wants the store to be a place where rosieMADE vendor partners can offer demonstrations or introduce new products, and where the company can host events for craftspeople and other women in business.
