Swan-Matic Redesigns Trigger Spray Capping Machine
Swan-Matic is now offering a redesigned C-600 Trigger Spray Capper.
Erie, PA, September 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Automation Devices, Inc.’s (ADI) Swan-Matic Division has improved the C600 Rotary Trigger Spray Cap Tightener with a new, redesigned model. The updated C600 offers customers who are capping trigger spray bottles an advanced system with unique features unlike competitor models.
The C600, redesigned by Swan-Matic newcomer Sean Parker, provides predictable torque, ultimately ensuring accuracy of the cap being secured. “The C600 needed an outside perspective to determine how it could be improved. “The previous model was not as user friendly as it could be,” explains Parker. “It was time for some adjustments to be made. Most importantly, we’ve improved the overall safety and consistency of the capper.”
When the bottle is introduced to the C600, the cap is torqued to an exact specification and the tightening wheels stop. The bottle is then released and the next bottle can be introduced. “Our trigger sprayer doesn’t require compressed air like competitor models and is constructed of fewer parts that will wear and ultimately need replaced,” says Parker. “The redesigned model adds precision to tightening the cap, increasing the bottle stability while most importantly, it allows the operator to keep a safe distance from the capper’s spindle without being drawn to the capper’s rotating wheels. The new design limits the bottle’s forward motion and then gently gives it back to the operator once the torque is achieved.
The C600 is available in 120 or 240 volt and can handles trigger spray bottles of all sizes that have tops larger than the capping head. ADI can retrofit a customer’s previous model to include the redesigned updates. Please call ADI for pricing. This new development is available for all new trigger sprayer machines and is a simple bolt on addition to all existing C600 Swan-Matic cappers.
“The customer can do the simple retro-fit themselves,” says Parker. “Instructions are included with every retro-fit kit.” There’s no need to send the machine in unless, customers want a full inspection to make sure their Swan-Matic capper is running at optimal performance.”
