See 16mm films, hear original rare vinyl records, enjoy actual antiques you can handle and get demonstrated. Drink and enjoy refreshments. The Museum of Interesting Things has a Prohibition themed evening featuring original rare 16mm films from the 30's 40's, 50's and 60's of circus and vaudeville and much more. Also early 1900's and some 1800's antiques, Stereviews and Mutoscope cards a sealed bottle of 1919 whiskey and a real moonshine still from 1922. There will be nurses there handing out prohibition prescriptions for those ill and in need of liquor. Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 6pm - whenever (The Loft at Prince Street, 177 Prince St bet Thompson and Sullivan, sixth floor penthouse, 6pm - whenever, $10 donation)
