Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar to Host New Zealand Wine Dinner Sept. 17
Rocky Top Hospitality’s Cary-Based Restaurant Hosts Multi-Course Wine Dinner
Raleigh, NC, September 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, has announced that
Dean’s Seafood Grill & Bar will host a New Zealand wine dinner on Tuesday, Sept. 17 beginning at 7 p.m. Through a four-course dinner, guests will have the opportunity to pair wines with dishes that uniquely define New Zealand through the carefully chosen Nobilo and Kim Crawford wines. Tickets are $65 per person. For more information, visit http://www.deansseafoodgrill.com.
During the dinner, guests will enjoy a range of the Nobilo and Kim Crawford signature wines including pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, unoaked chardonnay and pinot noir. Each wine has been specifically selected to complement the restaurant’s most mouth-watering entrees, including salted cantaloupe gazpacho with beet crisp and basil crème fraiche, North Carolina clams, and confit of duck with collards and cherry balsamic jus.
Combining more than 300 years of family winemaking tradition and new, innovative approaches, Nikola Nobilo planted his first vineyard in 1943 in New Zealand. Today the Nobilo brand is led by winemaker David Edmonds, who continues the passion of identifying premium grapes from the company’s vineyards to craft wines with distinct, individualized character. Planted in the most welcoming spots – valleys with ample sunlight and rolling hills with ideal soil characteristics – Nobilo vineyards span New Zealand. For more information on Nobilo, visit http://www.nobilowines.com/index.htm.
Launched in 1996, Kim Crawford Wines began from a small Auckland cottage in New Zealand. Having quickly grown into a globally acclaimed brand, the company has maintained the unwaveringly simple and straightforward objective to produce and deliver under one label the very best wines from every grape variety and every premium wine-growing region in New Zealand.
