CarReadio™, the Latest iOS Voice-Driven Newsreader App, from Angle Has Been Released

CarReadio™ allows you to listen to content—newspapers, magazines and websites—by using your voice. Enjoy instant access to publications and websites from around the world without ever needing to look at your device. Double-tap the screen, speak a few commands and have content read to you whenever, wherever.

Eugene, OR, September 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- CarReadio™reads newspaper, magazine, and website content that has been aggregated into channels by the use of voice commands on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. Add content like the Los Angeles Times, ESPN, the Associated Press, or The Atlantic Magazine from the 450+ content sources. The articles from each content source will then go into the appropriate channel. The app will then read one of the thirteen channels selected by the user, such as the Sports Channel or News Channel.

CarReadio™ streams continuously, like a radio station. The difference is the absence of commercials and the ability to jump ahead or go back through the stories of each channel by using voice-commands. The listener can also pause the channel by double-tapping the screen and saying; “Stop.”

CarReadio™has no visual interface making the app safe to use in the car. It can be used in a car docking station or with Bluetooth. Safety and a high quality user experience were the goal the Angle designers when they conceived CarReadio™.

Angle CTO Shane Johnson said; “CarReadio™ enables the user to safely listen to content they desire by using their voice to add content or change channels. This is a completely different newsreader than the standard aggregation apps.”
