Alan Ram & The Janeen R. Barber Foundation Supporters Help Families in Need

Scottsdale, AZ, September 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Alan Ram, President & Founder of The Janeen R. Barber Foundation, received a surprising phone call from mother Jamie Brewer, who had met Ram at a holiday party he hosted for the children of Children First Academy in 2011. Brewer asked Ram to reach out to her eleven year-old son, who was stressing about their dire circumstance. Ram’s compassion for the children of Children First Academy, brought him on a journey to the school, to meet with this young boy.

Upon their meeting, this boy’s determination to help his family inspired Ram to rally the supporters of The Janeen R. Barber Foundation, to empower this family through provisions that would uplift them towards a successful and sustainable future. In the past few weeks, Ram and The Janeen R. Barber Foundation supporters, Preston Clarke, Sara Borrillo, Casey Beth, Laura Borrillo Reynoso, Christy Gretzmacher, Oasis Bedrooms, and Daniella Daley, were able to relocate the Brewer family into a new apartment, fully furnish the facility, stock the home with food, and begin the process of helping Ms. Brewer gain employment.

All of these donations were made on behalf of The Janeen R. Barber Foundation, and new donations continue to arrive daily. Ram used this specific family’s circumstance to launch and even bigger charitable project, that will reach out to families in need, that need empowerment, not enablement.
