Dick Hannah Subaru Donates School Supplies and $4,600 to Crestline Elementary in Vancouver, Washington
Vancouver, WA, September 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dick Hannah Subaru donated $4,600 and boxes of new school supplies to Crestline Elementary in support of the school and its students who are still struggling after the building burned to the ground in February 2013.
In an effort spearheaded by its employees, Dick Hannah Subaru launched “Tools for Schools,” a multi-media campaign actively reaching out to the community for donations of school supplies for the devastated Crestline community. In addition, Dick Hannah Subaru donated $100 for every car sold during the “Tools for Schools” campaign.
On Thursday, September 12, 2013, team members from Dick Hannah Subaru delivered the donated supplies and a $4,600 check to Bobbi Hite, Crestline's principal, at their temporary home on the former Hewlett-Packard campus on Southeast 34th Street.
“A big thank you to Dick Hannah Subaru for their support as we head in to a new school year. This donation will go a long way to help Crestline Elementary upgrade our technology, purchase playground equipment and fund the supplemental meal program for our students once our new school is completed,” said Bobbi Hite, Crestline Elementary school principal.
