Five Independent Truck Stops Add TRANSFLO Express®
Tampa, FL, September 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Five truck stop locations have joined the growing network of independent companies which offer TRANSFLO Express® truck stop scanning from Pegasus TransTech.
TRANSFLO Express is a triple win – it helps both drivers and fleets to get paid faster, and for truck stops it will attract more driver customers who need to scan and transmit their delivery documents.
One of the new TRANSFLO Express stops is Speedy's Travel Plaza at 2023 State Highway 104 in the rolling green country of upstate New York, at Exit 34 on Interstate 81. Speedy's offers a great location, full-service fueling, a restaurant, showers, a convenience store, and now, TRANSFLO Express.
"We had a lot of requests from the drivers for it," said Matt Clark, Speedy's director of operations. "They were going to other locations because of it."
But that's turning around now.
"It's going great. The drivers who know about TRANSFLO Express are using it and they're telling other drivers. It's starting to expand," Clark said.
With TRANSFLO Express, drivers simply hand their documents to a trained cashier for scanning. In seconds, these documents are sent electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing. Because TRANSFLO Express expedites document delivery, fleets and drivers get paid faster.
TRANSFLO Express is now or will soon be offered at four other independent truck stop locations. They are:
