Temperature@lert Honored as Gold Stevie® Award Winner in 2013 American Business Awards
Temperature@lert announced as a Gold Winner in ABA’s Tech & New Product Awards Ceremony Announced in San Francisco
Boston, MA, September 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Temperature@lert was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award in the New Product or Service of the Year – Other Software category for their Sensor Cloud service in the 11th Annual American Business Awards on Monday night.
Sensor Cloud is a web-based software-as-a-service product for monitoring the environmental conditions of IT server rooms, bio-pharmaceutical vaccine storage, and commercial refrigerators. Sensor Cloud enables regulatory compliance data logging and alerting for a wide range of environmental indicators such as temperature, humidity, flooding, and more. The fault-tolerant design helps ensure that sensor data is logged and maintained for several years, while the website and free iPhone/Android apps enable access to sensor readings and the ability to edit phone calls, emails, and SMS alerts from anywhere.
Temperature@lert’s Cellular Products have previously won several awards, including a Stevie Gold Award for their Solar Cellular Edition in 2012. However, it is Temperature@lert’s Sensor Cloud that serves as the brain of all Cellular Editions with over thousands of devices deployed and running the service. Temperature@lert's WiFi and USB devices can also be connected to Sensor Cloud for a consolidated view of all sensor readings and alert statuses from any remote location. Temperature@lert’s mission is to create a cost-effective and fault-tolerant system that will allow any user to monitor their assets at any moment, anywhere.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the trophies were presented to winners during a gala banquet on Monday, September 16 at the Julia Morgan Ballroom in San Francisco. More than 250 nominees and their guests attended.
This year’s American Business Awards were presented at two awards events. Awards for marketing, customer service, human resources, and other disciplines were announced in Chicago in June. Monday night’s event focused on the technology and new product awards categories.
As software-as-a-service, “Temperature@lert’s Sensor Cloud service directly addresses the monitoring needs from a variety of industries, ranging from server rooms, to farms, to medical storage, and even to commercial food transportation operations. We are deeply honored to be a Stevie Gold winner for our Sensor Cloud service by the American Business Awards,” said Harry Schechter, CEO/President of Temperature@lert. “This honor only further validates the need for remote temperature monitoring because everyone should be able to easily prevent temperature related disasters, regardless of the application or company size. We believe in giving you a solution before a problem can even occur.”
Stevie Award winners were selected by more than 320 executives nationwide who participated in the judging process.
“So many remarkable stories of success and innovation were told in the nominations submitted to this year’s American Business Awards,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We congratulate all of this year’s Stevie Award winners, and thank them for the inspiration provided by their achievements.”
