EventSetter.com marks seven months with guide to online events.

London, United Kingdom, January 05, 2006 --(PR.com)-- EventSetter.com marks the New Year with seven months of its guide to upcoming events. The site is intended for the free promotion of upcoming public events. This service is available to any individual or organization looking to promote events in and around major cities in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

EventSetter.com is designed for easy and intuitive navigation of its list of events. The front page (www.eventsetter.com) of the site is arranged by region with each region listing cities alphabetically. On each city page there is a calendar for quickly jumping to specific dates for event listings, as well as having a full categories list from which to search for events by classification. All events are uploaded by the organizer, promoter, venue or event related associates through an easy to use feature-rich upload form. The party listing the event has the option of using plain text; or TinyMCE, a built-in rich text editor allowing full HTML listings.

Users can set personal display preferences, permitting custom options for viewing the lists of events. RSS feeds are integrated into the website to syndicate events for both city specific and category specific event listings. Google Maps links are provided for easily finding event locations. Other useful features are the printer friendly versions, and iCalendar files for synchronizing an event with the user’s calendar software, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Sunbird, or Apple iCal.

More cities and new features are planned for the future and will be announced when they are integrated into the site. EventSetter.com expects the use of its site to increase greatly in the coming year, due to its ease of use, features, regional coverage, and a continually updated list of events. Most traffic currently originates in the United States, although increases are expected in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
