CAI to Celebrate 50th Anniversary Oct. 23 with Luncheon Featuring Speaker Steve Gilliland
HR Management Firm to Celebrate 50 Years of Service with Hall of Fame Member and Special Presentation of Workplace Changes Over the Years.
Raleigh, NC, September 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Bruce Clarke, president and CEO of CAI, a human resource management firm that helps organizations maximize employee engagement while minimizing employer liability, announced that the firm will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Wednesday, Oct. 23 during a special luncheon. The event will include a review of the many changes made over the years within CAI and the HR industry as a whole. The luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the North Ridge Country Club, located at 6612 Falls of Neuse Road.
Steve Gilliland, who is a member of the Speaker Hall of Fame and a regular contributor on SiriusXM Radio’s Laugh USA and Blue Collar Radio, will serve as the luncheon’s guest speaker. During his presentation, Hide Your Goat, Gilliland will speak to attendees about the impact of negativity on productivity in the workplace. He will share his secrets for not allowing people to “get your goat.” Additionally, CAI will offer a special presentation on workplace changes over the last 50 years, looking at the past, present and future of the firm.
In the past 50 years, CAI has grown to serve more than 1,000 member organizations. The company continues to offer North Carolina employers pertinent advice, local research and valuable information to help them lead successful businesses and remain in compliance with the latest laws and industry updates.
CAI has grown to operate from two locations with its offices in Greensboro and Raleigh. Two, long-serving and dedicated leaders have led the firm, George Shelton, who joined CAI in 1970 and served as its leader from 1979 to late 2001, and now Bruce Clarke, who took over the roles of president and CEO at CAI in 2002.
