Lakeway Realtor Cyndi Cummings to Host "Dance for the Walk," a Benefit for Alzheimer’s Research

Alzheimer’s affects almost every family in America. The medical community is making great strides to find treatment and possibly even a cure, but they need your help. Lakeway Realtor Cyndi Cummings is passionately committed to this cause and has, for the second consecutive year, gathered a group of professionals to “Walk to End Alzheimer’s.” As an aid to their team’s fundraising project, Cummings is hosting the “Dance for the Walk”: a fun, festive party to raise money for the “Lakeway Supporters” team.

The event will feature Austin’s top Big Band, the Republic of Texas Big Band as entertainment. Dancing is encouraged. This is a BYOB event and there is a $10 entrance donation. Cummings is a real estate pioneer in her efforts to serve the specific needs of the aging community. To help Lakeway seniors and their families accomplish the life transition and decisions about what level of care seniors require and whether or not moving to assisted living is the best solution, Cummings, along with Keller Williams Realty has teamed with the Austin Senior Resource Center to provide a multitude of answers to these important questions. Cummings has also received many special designations in the Real Estate field which, as a result of hundreds of hours of training, has prepared her for the specific needs of her senior citizen clients.

The Dance for the Walk will take place September 21st, 2013 from 7:30-10:30 PM at the American Legion Travis Post 76, 404 Atlanta, Austin, TX 78703.
