Jerry’s Artarama Hosts 13th Annual Art of the Carolinas
Annual Trade Show and Workshops Encourage Creativity and Promotes Art in the Southeast
Raleigh, NC, September 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Jerry’s Artarama, a national retailer of art supplies and materials headquartered in Raleigh, will host the 13th annual Art of the Carolinas trade show and workshop from Friday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 10. The weekend-long event will be held at the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown located at 3415 Wake Forest Road on Friday, Nov. 8, and Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Workshops will begin Wednesday, Nov. 6.
Art of the Carolinas offers over 100 workshops in every medium along with over 45 instructors at this year’s show. Workshop topics include everything from acrylic and drawing to encaustics, mixed media and more. Some of the many artists and returning instructors include, Bob Burridge, Joe Digiulio, Paul McCormack and Suzanna Winton. Those who would like to attend a workshop are encouraged to sign up quickly as spots are running out.
The 30,000-square-foot trade show room will also include many of the top vendors in the art materials industry demoing and providing samples on a variety of art supplies. Attendees will be able to participate in free demonstrations and have the opportunity to speak directly with the manufacturers of the brands they use on a daily basis.
Art of the Carolinas attendees will be offered complimentary limo service to and from the Jerry’s Artarama retail store located at 3060 Wake Forest Rd. in Raleigh to the Hilton hotel and will run every 15 minutes.
