In honor of October's Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, Women on the Verge (WOTV) will dedicate this month to all of Women's Health. WOTV invites members to tell their stories and inspire other women to get checked and take care of themselves. Members can share their stories at www.womenontheverge.net or on our Facebook page.
Women's Health Awareness Month is October's topic, and Women on the Verge members will be exploring and discussing via WOTV's online community blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and Vlogs. Each week in October focuses on a subtopic:
October 1 – 6: Heart Health
October 7 – 13: Breast and Ovarian Cancer
October 14 – 20: Supermom Syndrome
October 21 – 31: Creating a Healthier You
They will be dedicating posts associated with each week on Facebook and Twitter.
The WOTV blogs garnered over two million hits in September 2013. Blogs are the core of the community, and have been featured in Marie Claire magazine. The community also boasts an additional 15,000+ followers on social media. Members span the globe and include New York Times bestselling authors, entrepreneurs and mothers.
