Super Lawyers Magazine Recognizes Four Klemchuk Kubasta Attorneys in 2013
Klemchuk, Kubasta and Bates Named to the Texas Super Lawyers List; Griffith Honored for the First Time This Year

Griffith along with his colleagues Darin M. Klemchuk, Kelly J. Kubasta and Shannon W. Bates have been named to the 2013 Texas Super Lawyers List. Founding partners Darin Klemchuk, a six-time recipient (2008-2013), and Kelly Kubasta, a three-time recipient (2011-2013), were recognized for their work in IP litigation. Griffith and partner Shannon Bates (2012-2013), a two-time recipient, were named for their intellectual property practices. These accomplished attorneys join their distinguished colleague and partner James E. Davis, a four-time recipient of the Super Lawyers designation.
In addition to the Super Lawyers ranking, several of the firm’s attorneys have been named to the Texas list of “Rising Stars Under 40” over the years. Since 2004, partner Kirby Drake has been named to the Rising Star list six times (2007, 2009-2013), associate Austin Champion was added to the list in 2012, and senior associate Kelsey Weir Johnson was recognized for the first time in 2013. Prior to being named to the Texas Super Lawyers List, Darin Klemchuk was named a Rising Star four times (2004-2006, 2008), and Kelly Kubasta has been honored twice for the designation (2010-2011).
Published by Thomson Reuters, Super Lawyers uses a rigorous, multiphase process that includes independent research, peer nominations and evaluations to rank attorneys in more than 70 practice areas. To be included in the ranking, each candidate must successfully pass 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Once an independent evaluation has been completed, less than 2.5 percent of the attorneys being screened are ultimately recognized as a member of the Super Lawyers list.
